POLICY - Barn will be closed if Howard County has an emergency plan in effect. NOT just when schools are closed.
- The web-site, Facebook, & Twitter will always be updated for closings. You can also call the barn at 301-776-5850. - CHC has a very lenient make-up policy. There are several make-up lessons to add in to. All make-ups should be completed before the expiration date. - Please notify the barn if you plan on not coming to your lesson. Thank you. |

 | Columbia Horse Center is proud to offer a unique opportunity that includes lots of unstructured riding, social events, trips, shows, clinics, and much more. Riding enthusiasts can pay a quarterly fee and become part of our family! | The Equi-Lease Program plans numerous events that members take advantage of. They enjoy spending the day at the races, trail rides, Medieval Times, shopping at the Expo, Clinics, traveling on trips to Seven Springs Ski Resort and to Kentucky for the Rolex, and much more. | 
|  | Equi-Lease is designed to allow our students to ride as often as they would like. Members can practice what they've learned in their lesson, go on a trail with a friend, or just enjoy being on the back of a horse. What ever their heart desires. |
Equi-Lease Information: Membership Fees
Unlimited - $967 for 3 months (ride as many days as you like, max 2 rides per day)
Limited - $805 for 3 months (ride 2 days a week, max 2 rides per day) Misc. Fees
$47.00 Evaluation Lesson (approximately 1 1/2 hours covering grooming, riding, rules of Equi-Lease)
$89.00 Initiation Fee
$25.00 Guest Evaluation

- Most riders are required to take lessons at Columbia Horse Center to be eligible for Equi-Lease.
- Riders must be 12 years of age and older.
- Members groom & tack their horses.
- Members can choose to ride Equi-Lease horses as well as Columbia Horse Center's school horses.
