MINDY
What a valuable school horse. Mindy has to be the best beginner horse CHC has ever had. For many years, she was our "go to" horse. She was the 1st ride for hundreds of people, if not more. She was like an old relative. She might complain in the beginning, but you knew she loved you and would always take care of you. She always made sure you had a safe ride. Thank you Mindy for making so many rider's dreams come true.

MICKEY
Micky was special in his own way. Coming in an old man, everyone knew how appreciative he was to be with us. He would have lots of stories to tell if he were human. Such a sweet natured horse, he was always eager to do his job and take care of his riders. Micky will always put a smile on our faces when think back and remember the sparkle in his eye and the spunk he would have everytime he would enter the ring or get turned out in the pasture. Age meant nothing to Mickey.

BLAKE
Blake was very lucky to have been loved & owned by two people while at CHC. He enjoyed playing with Emma and then later being cared for by Christine. Such an affectionate horse, it's not hard to see why he was so loved. Blake had such a playfulness about him when it came to interacting with people. We sometimes would forget that he was a horse. Blake definitely had a soft spot in many hearts of our students as well as our staff.

COMET
Comet has been part of CHC for such a long time. She was the favorite of many of our campers as well as adult riders. She was a great beginner horse and wonderful for those learning to canter. She also still enjoyed kicking up her heels on the trails. Comet would always remind us how important she was to the program, especially on those hot, summer days. We knew we could always count on her and feel reassured that she would keep our riders safe.

MONTY
Monty had such character and reveled in the thought of harrassing people, but yet be one of the most amazing horses to ride. He enjoyed his days in the Equi-Lease Program, believing he was the king of the barn and should always be 1st for peppermints. For those close to him, he showed an affectionate  side with a twist of humor. We will all remember our “Monty” stories for years to come.

FOSTER
Foster belonged to Caeli C. after Anthony, one of our Instructors, moved on. Caeli worked hard with Foster and took him to many dressage shows, including Junior Young Riders. He was a very talented horse with lots of power and an occasional wild outburst. The pair were always very entertaining to watch. Caeli had to go to college, and Foster moved on as well. But, we will always think of him as one of ours.
